Bridging People, Culture & Services in Kingston
Connecting people in Kingston with the services and organisations they need — together, we build local solutions
KCAALS is a social platform which brings people together with organisations and services in and around Kingston to create solutions. We aim to bridge the gap by helping individuals understand which public services are available and how to access them. We recognise the cultural diversity of our community and, where appropriate, can help to facilitate clear communication that might otherwise be hindered by misunderstandings.
Making services accessible for all
KCAALS facilitates accessing public service provision for Kingston’s residents and for newly arrived migrants and refugees by offering surgeries and workshops. Our network of trained and volunteer interpreters enables us to offer help in resolving challenging situations.
Supporting wellbeing across Kingston
Through our programme of culture walks, coffee mornings and workshops, KCAALS is committed to improving the well-being of Kingston residents of all ages and from all walks of life. This can involve supporting people who are isolated, families struggling with poverty, young people who feel excluded, and new arrivals who are not getting the support they need.

Empowering volunteers to lead change
KCAALS strongly believes in volunteering to be one of the main pillars of sustainable communities and relies on its volunteers to reach out to the community at large by dedicating their time and skills within the framework of our provision. For this reason, we frequently hold accredited training courses for our prospective volunteers.
